| | So I'm sure some of you out there are saying something like the following after my last post:
"Oh great, I've already died my hair... and now your telling me its a bad idea"
So now that you've been suffciently warned about hair color... I'm going to teach you how to cheat. Now please note that when you cheat you are not making it look as good as the real deal. So this is NOT an incentive to disregard everything I said. This is an incentive to look better if my last post came too late.
The following tips are to make your overall appearance look better and start to blend together... this does not mean if you have a professional photographer taking headshots of you that you will look your best. The clashing colors/lack of color will be apparent when all people are seeing is your face.
The Cheat codes:
If you were a redhead/auburn/strawberry blonde: .... and you went blonde Keep reds, yellows, and oranges in your wardrobe. You can keep greens as long as you haven't been swimming in chlorine water. Warm toned tans and champanges will look great.
DO NOT under any circumstances start the pink/purple/blue trend.
.... and you went brunette or black Especially focus on the reds. The contrast will
pop, and it will start to restore color back into
that complexion you just made intensely pale Orange and teal are also very good colors
You are FORBIDDEN from wearing black(shirts) Also no pink/purple/blue trend for you.
If you were a blonde:
.... and you went red:
Lighter intensity navy's are going to be your
lifesaver. Off- white is another very good one.
If you keep to light and muted cool greens, that
color can also become part of your staple clothes
DO NOT ever, ever, ever, ever wear pea green Orange, yellow, and red are also big problems.
.... and you went brunette or black
Pink child! Wear pink! Pink is your favorite color!
Rose, marroon, wine, burgandy, cameo, candy
ANY shade of pink you can find. You have just
succesfully turned yourself into a ghost and you need to bring as much color back into your face as you possibly can. Purple is another color that can possibly aid this.
You are FORBIDDEN from wearing black(shirts) NO starck white. No warm colors.
If you were a Brunette/Black:
.... and you went blonde
Pastels have become your new wardrobe staple.
Light purple, light pink, light blue, light green.
Your problem is that you hair can't take the
intense colors your skin can. So we comprimise; Light colors for your hair, but light enough that they have the intensity needed for your skin. White is another good color.
NO black. Stop wearing it. Now. DO NOT wear pastel yellow or pastel orange
.... and you went red or auburn
Navy is your new best friend. You love Navy.
Everything you own is Navy. Navy...(you get the point)
Starck white and Cool greens are again a good
choice.
You are FORBIDDEN from wearing black(shirts) You are also forbidden from pea green. No orange. No Red. No Yellow.
Please keep in mind that just because I did not mention a color in the "don't wear this catagory" does not mean that you can wear it. I only mentioned there the super bad colors that are often worn. If you have a question about a color let me know what your original base colors were, what they are now, and what color you want to wear.
And there you have it. Those guidlines still won't bring back your natural beauty... but they will act as a bridge between both worlds.
Once again, if you have any questions let me know!
